Travel like a Nestlette.
Even if it’s handing her lemons, a Nestlette doesn’t let it get her down. She keeps up with her family and the latest gossip.

It’s about that time to be sending off your holiday greetings. No, not emails with animated falling snowflakes – real paper cards with ink, stamps and envelopes. In the mix of the daily email routine, sending the occasional card via postal service is a nice touch. As timeless as the act of sending a card is the art of letterpress. Hello Lucky is the way to go. They specialize in letterpress (but also create digital prints), their designs are elegant (in a whimsical way) and they are green (recycled paper and tree-free cotton).
So what does one do with the archive of glamorous photo-bytes filed somewhere in a folder called Photos? Upload them! Yes, the upload process from the camera onto the computer is usually the most time we spend admiring them. But upload them to picaboo and create a memory book that you (or someone else) will enjoy looking at time and time again.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Here’s something to chew on. Sophie the Giraffe is designed to stimulate the senses (she makes a happy sound when squeezed) and soothe teething gums (safe for babies’ mouths). A French classic for your drooling bundle of joie.
Here is a campaign that sounds Nestlette worthy – the Lunch Note Promise by Lunchables (remember those?) Whether it was a Lunchable or a homemade lunch with cookie cuttered pb&j, my mom always put a note in my bag – a tradition that I now keep when making my boyfriend’s lunch and will continue to do when I have a kid carting of to school. Whether it is words of encouragement or a picture you drew – it just has to be thoughtful, let them know you are thinking about them, make them feel good about themselves and smile. This action proves the old adage true: Doing something small can make the biggest difference. Not only in your loved ones life but for someone else too. Make a promise and Lunchables will give a free meal to a child in need so they can do their best too.
I can not for the life of me remember who told me about this game but I remember thinking that it sounded like so much fun! I wanted to buy it, but could not remember the name of it, and now I recently saw it on the shelf and it is called Quelf. Among your closest friends and family, with a few noggie toddies, this might be lots of fun to play at a one of the many holiday parties of the season.
Why do you need a digital camcorder when you just spent all that money on a hi tech camera? Because. A) There will always be a wannabe Leibovitz in the room. But B) Some moments just can’t be captured in a snap. And some people just can’t capture a moment that quickly. The Flip Mino HD is perfect for the wannabe Capras.
