Candy Apple takes the Cake
As bacon has done for cooking, cake has done for baking – it just makes everything better. You can cake batter just about anything – cookies, ice cream, even cake batter cake. Apples are nature’s dessert. We’ve cinnamon-shelled, caramel-dipped and candy-barred them to turn an apple a day into an extra special treat. Now, we let them eat cake.
Introducing the Cake Batter Candy Apple
For two medium-sized apples: Melt 1 cup of white chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Mix in 2 tablespoons of Funfetti cake mix. Roll apples in melted chocolate then dip the top in extra sprinkles. Let cool and harden. Slice, bite and enjoy!
